BCPC winner arrested

30 yr old Sophon Sek of CloverdaleBC,
winner of the BC Poker Championship,
was arrested for manslaughter in connection
with the "Surrey 6 Slaughter". Sek is
the 6th person charged in connection
with the 2007 highrise slayings, which
claimed the lives of 4 suspected gang
members and 2 innocent bystanders.

His arrest comes just two days after
Sek took home $364,364 for outlasting
679 others in the $2,700 buy-in
BC Poker Championship Main Event.

Sek's 1st-place winnings are currently being
held by the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation.
No word when or if they will be released.
Pretty sure Sek could use the funds to help
with some legal bills.
